Abandoned Stamp Card No 3: Bert Hinkler

A stamp was designed in 1928 to commemorate Bert Hinkler’s Australia Flight from England to Australia. Due to a mis-understanding there was no intention to issue such a stamp. While the art work no longer exists, a stamp-sized image exists in Australia Post’s National Philatelic Collection
