AUSTRALIAN PHILATELIC FEDERATION (‘APF’) MISSION STATEMENT
Mission Statement
To promote and further develop organised philately within Australia;
To function as the national voice and coordinating body for organised philately in Australia;
To increase public awareness of stamp collecting as an interesting, rewarding and educative hobby;
To promote and encourage an increased understanding of the art and science of philately among stamp collectors;
To positively and effectively represent the interests of organised philately within Australia to:
* The Australian community and government organisations; and
* International philatelic federations and other major international philatelic bodies.
