About the Antarctic Stamp and Postcard Exhibition

What

An exhibition of Antarctic stamps, postal history, postcards and related material.

To be held in conjunction with the international Antarctic Festival celebrating all things Antarctic, based on the Hobart docks.

Exhibits will be non-competitive. Limited frames are available and the Entry Form and Prospectus will be available below soon.

Important Note: We will be using 16-sheet frames.

A number of Antarctic-related events in addition to the special Dinner will be on offer. Details to follow.

Dinner

An Exhibition Dinner will be held at Hadley”s Orient Hotel, 34 Murray St, Hobart at 7:00 pm, Friday 26 August 2022. This will be a very entertaining event and tickets are limited to 50. Price $105 per ticket. We suggest booking early to secure your seat.

Dealers

National dealers with be in attendance. They will be buying and selling stamps, coins, banknotes and other collectibles with a special emphasis on Antarctic related material and items from Tasmania or Australia.

Accommodation

A Group booking has been negotiated with Hadley’s Hotel, 34 Murray St, Hobart at a discounted rate especially for Exhibition attendees. Limited rooms are available so booking early is suggested. Hobart will be very busy around this time .
