Air Mail Stamp 2s 3d (Aeropex 2019)

In response to an increase from 2/- to 2/3 in the Airmail rate for certain overseas Countries on 14 July 1958, a definitive stamp featuring “AirMmail” in the design was commissioned. For some reason, the airmail stamp was not issued and the 2/3 value was covered by the Australian Flower definitive series.

This Abandoned Stamp Design card was produced for the Aeropex Dec 2019 exhibition in South Australia.
